“Interactive Hands-on” Activities
12:45 pm – 5:00 pm
Try your hand at throwing a spear or learn to cook in an umu (Samoan aboveground oven) at the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC). Eight new “Interactive Hands-on” activities have been introduced to the PCC’s popular daytime experiences to entice guests to “do as natives do” and actively participate in several traditional Polynesian aspects of daily life, including games, crafts, cooking and ceremonies.

Mission Settlement

The 1850s Hawaiian Mission Settlement is comprised of a small non-denominational chapel, an open-sided Polynesian-style school house and a rock-walled missionary home which features many handmade and quilted items for sale

Huki: A Canoe Celebration, canoe pageant
2:30 pm – 3:00 pm
A one of a kind pageant on the water! Each island puts on a beautiful representation of their dance and music on large platform canoes as you watch from various viewing areas along the lagoon

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Huki: A Canoe Celebration is unavailable until further notice.

Laie and Temple Visitors Center Tour
3:05 pm – 6:50 pm
Take a bus tour of Brigham Young University – Hawaii, the town of Laie, and the Laie Hawaii Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located next to the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Hawaiian Journey
1:30 pm (first show)
Last showing at 6:30 pm, Japanese language version show at 5:00 pm. The movie lasts approximately 15 minutes.

Due to Covid -19 restrictions, the Hawaiian Journey movie experience is closed until further notice.

Inclement Weather Notice
In the event of inclement weather, events and indoor shows will continue to operate, including all Village presentations, the Ali’i Luau, Prime Dining, Island Buffet, BBQ Lunch, and the Ha: Breath of Life Evening show. For the safety and comfort of our guests and staff, some outdoor events and presentations may temporarily close until the weather improves and it is safe to resume activities.

Food kiosks and restaurants

Hukilau Marketplace, at the entrance of the Polynesian Cultural Center, is open free to the public from 11:00 am to 9:30 pm. Monday – Saturday (closed Wednesdays & Sundays). Free parking included.

“HA: Breath of Life” Show
7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Seating begins at 7:00 p.m. All seats are reserved. Advance reservations are highly recommended.

Polynesian Hall of Fame
12:00 pm – 7:00 pm

The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame honors Polynesia’s greatest players, coaches and contributors. The permanent exhibits which stand next to the Center’s new Hukilau Marketplace; admission is FREE. Reflecting Polynesia architectural design, the Hall of Fame gallery features lava stones, koa and ohia wood, and accents of traditional fabric and includes photos, memorabilia and an interactive display.

There are many places to dine at the Polynesian Cultural Center. During the day guests may stop at any of our snack bars located throughout our island villages or at our Hukilau Marketplace. For dinner, guests can feast in our award-winning Ali’i Luau, or our Gateway Restaurant. Reservations are required to attend our Ali’i Luau and Gateway Restaurant.

Alii Luau
4:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Alii Luau seating begins at 4:45 pm. The Alii Luau includes a Polynesian review which begins at approximately 5:05 pm with the regal Royal Hawaiian Court procession and the presentation of the imu-roasted pork (pork cooked in the traditional Hawaiian underground oven).  We encourage you to arrive on time and enjoy the entire luau experience. View Ali’i Luau Menu.

Gateway Buffet
4:30 pm – 6:45 pm

Seating begins approximately at 4:45 pm and continues through 6:30 pm. View Gateway Buffet Menu.
